BRAND HISTORY

On March 30th, 2011, Sachelle was formed by the collaboration of fashion design student, Sarah Ghazal and fashion merchandising student, Michelle Vaughner. Sarah and Michelle first met in the year of 2008 when taking a basic textiles course at California State University Los Angeles, and have been separated ever since by differences in coursework and outside hobbies. Three years later they were reunited in there final fashion course where the task was to  form groups for their  "Senior Project". Sarah and Michelle had similar interests in hair, makeup, and style so they came together to form "Sachelle". Sachelle is the combination of both students names; it represented the bond that they both shared and how they would always be connected by their similar love in fashion.

Sarah started off by designing woman's ready to wear ,such as but not limited to dresses, skirts, and blouses, inspired by the Islamic culture/architecture and continues to design with such inspiration. Sachelle is known for its simple neutral colors, yet complicated structure which represents the Islamic architecture and the confident woman who dares to wear it. Sachelle is currently opening up its first online store which is set to take off by the end of May 2011.

WHO IS SACHELLE?

Sachelle designs for the woman looking to feel young, classy, and is confident in who she is and who she will become. She doesn't follow trends nor is she big on designer wear but loves to shop for one of a kind pieces that fits her best. She can be price conscientious but will make sacrifices for the sake of fashion. The idea "Sachelle woman" can live anywhere because she doesn't let her location determine her choice in fashion. She is STRONG, CONFIDENT, and ONE OF A KIND. She is SACHELLE. Sachelle - "The confidence you've always had".
